‘Creature Comforts, established in 1997, has grown to be Scotland’s largest independent family run pet retailer. A family owned independent business, run by husband & wife team, Graeme & Ann Wilson set up their first shop in Clarkston in 1997 and have since grown the Creature Comforts family with the opening of a second shop in Milngavie in 2002, Shawlands in 2011 and more recently Burnside in 2017. Providing excellent customer service is at the heart of Creature Comforts.

We were thrilled to win East Renfrewshire’s Best Family Business award in 2016, were finalists in the Scottish Independent Retail Awards 2017 in the Independent Pet Supplies Store of the Year category and were one of only 6 finalists in the Pet Industry Federation’s UK Independent Retailer of the Year 2017 & 2020 awards.

Our dedicated and experienced team can advise and supply an extensive variety of quality pets including hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits, cold water and tropical fish, birds, hand-reared parrots and reptiles. We have developed our own range of premium pet food and stock a large selection of top branded cages, accessories, foods and bedding to suit all your pets’ requirements.
